Designer. Sometimes developer. I make products that work well and feel right.
I run Consult Qualia from Co. Donegal, Ireland, helping teams ship enterprise platforms, consumer apps, and increasingly, AI-native tools.

I studied Design at IIT Guwahati, then Cognitive Science at UCD in Dublin. The combination stuck. I think about interfaces as systems, and systems as things people actually have to use.
Over 7 years I've worked across the spectrum: enterprise HRMS at Salesforce scale, a video app with a million users, fintech payment flows, AI editorial tools. I like variety. Each domain teaches you something different about how to solve problems.
These days I design and build. Figma to Next.js, often in the same afternoon. When the tools let you move that fast, the old handoff rituals start to feel slow.

Memory chunking and motor action chunking have long been studied as separate phenomena — one cognitive, one embodied. This thesis argues they are expressions of the same underlying mechanism, drawing on neurophysiological evidence from basal ganglia research to propose a unified framework that defines chunking as a singular process in human learning and behaviour.

Before pixels, understand what you're solving. Talk to users. Look at data. The best designs come from clear problem framing.
Complexity is easy. Simplicity is hard. I aim for interfaces that feel obvious, where users don't have to think about the tool.
Perfect is the enemy of good. Get it in front of users, watch what happens, iterate. Real feedback beats assumptions.
Running Consult Qualia. Designing AI-native products. Shipping code when it makes sense. Looking for interesting problems, especially where enterprise meets emerging tech.
I'm always interested in hearing about new projects, especially those involving complex product challenges or AI-native tools.
